My Lord! I seek Your protection against the insinuations of the devils and I seek your protection against them approaching me.- (23:97-98)

Kashmir

During Kashmir floods in 2014 we carried much needed relief material through our rounds of contribution from donors. We analyzed the situation and bought mattresses, pillows and blankets for 250 families to ensure that they are able to get back. We also monetarily helped children through fees so that they can continue their academic journey to be able to contribute to the nation and their respective families. We were happy to be able to provide our assistance to 500+ families. We are still in coordination with the families to ensure that they are supported whenever there is need.

Kerala relief

During the Kerala flash floods in 2018 we carried much needed items from Mumbai. We saw that lives were devastated and houses were washed away. We went to multiple villages and were happy help them built 52 complete homes through contributions from our donors and locals. We also got involved in the construction work ourselves to ensure faster handover of their homes.

Shamli Relief

We went to Shamli and Kairana (Nahid Colony) area in a remote village in Uttar Pradesh during the month of Ramadan and were shocked to see that people did not have even dates to break their fast. We ensured that the families had immediate stock of good quality dates to break their fast.

Then we also arranged ration gifts for 300+ families so that they have enough to survive. We are still in coordination with the families to ensure that they are supported whenever there is need.

Kokan Nisarg Relief

Kokan, Maharashtra saw worst typhoon Nisarg in 2020 destroying many villages in this coastal village in western belt of India. We carried supplies from Mumbai for immediate distribution to respective families. We provided torches and candles to families as there was no electricity for many weeks.

Majority of roofs from houses were blown away by strong wind currents so we arranged trampoline and local mud roof tiles (kavelu) so that families can feel safe. We also distributed water bottles, biscuits, food packets to the villagers. We went to over 18 villages which were worst hit spanning 1,800 families.

CST

At the start of the pandemic the problems were sky high including lack of medical facilities due to overwhelming patients, not enough ambulances, fear, scarcity of money due to lock down, lack of beds, etc. Our team saw an opportunity to help patients when families were scared to take their own family members to hospitals. We brought patients to hospitals, tracked and allocated beds with help of our medical warriors and supplied basic medicines and kits required at that time.

We partnered with the GRP to ensure that we escort people to board safely including few disabled ones right till their seats through wheel chairs. Our story was covered by a media channel BRUT.

LTT

One more major migration was happening from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) railway station. Again due to train delays due to unending crowds families including small children. We reached to their rescue and carried water bottles, milk, fruits, cooked food, biscuits and other eatables for them to eat and carry on their journey with full stomachs. We were happy to help 2,500 people / day and for a period of 1.5 weeks. We are over joyed to see over 30,000+ happy faces waving from trains.

Both these projects would not have been with the help from Almighty Allah, a dedicated team and our donors who kind heartedly supported us all through.

Kokan Flood

Mahad, khed, Chiplun, and other parts of Kokan, Maharashtra in 2021 witnessed one of the worst natural disaster with severe flooding. When we reached with our volunteers we could only see submerged houses, homeless people, hungry children, no sanitation facilities, no drinking water, and people's belongings were completely destroyed.

First Help Charitable Trust's team reached there with essential supplies immediately with ready-to-eat food packets, ration kits, clothing (for men, women, and children), milk & biscuits, torch, diapers, blankets, etc. We visited houses, did a thorough reccee, and ensured equal distribution of items.<>br We also helped families to clean & repair their homes, provide essential supplies, assured them of Allah's help through patience.
We still interact with families to ensure their well-being and normalcy.
